What’s New? – May 12, 2023

Our music shares exciting and meaningful works for band from recent years.  Dr. Jenna McBride-Harris will solo on Jane Vignery’s Sonate for Horn, Mvt. 1 in a setting done by MSW euphonium player Eleanore Harpstead.  We are also premiering Harpstead’s new work Together, Now. Rounding out the program is Joshua Hobbs’ Into the Blue, Kelijah Dunton’s Letters, and Associate Conductor Paul Kile will present Carl Holmquist’s Murmurations and Adrian Sims’ Incandescence.
