|The board is interested in your thoughts!! How might you respond to these questions? If you could describe MSW in a few words/phrases, what would those be? Tell us what you feel makes MSW unique. What would you like to see MSW achieve in the next 5-10 years? If there is one thing you would want to improve or change about your experience, what would that be? For the next 2 rehearsals, on April 12th and 19th, we’ll have large sheets of paper with these questions. During break take time to write down your thoughts. Then share and discuss with your fellow musicians. For those not playing this concert cycle, you are invited to share your feedback as well! Please email me responses and/or look for another opportunity in the coming weeks as I share back some of the feedback. This feedback will assist with revising our mission statement and help direct leadership as we plan for our future.
Also, as follow up to the announcement at band, the open house for Tim is approaching on Saturday, May 6 from 2-5 pm. If you haven’t registered and want to attend, please do so at the link below. This event is happening at the Embassy Suites in Minneapolis. All are welcome – colleagues, former and current students, friends, family – spread the word! It’s a fun addition to Friday’s Orchestra Hall festivities. You don’t want to miss it!

One additional item and opportunity- Athena Music & Leadership Camps are inviting women members of MSW to participate in a music reading session of the Athena Summit on Saturday, May 13th, from 2:15pm to 3:00pm at Edina High School. The session will be led by Dr. Erika Svanoe, Concert Band Conductor at Augsburg University.
