Dear MSW,

Congratulations on a terrific concert this past weekend! From Tim- I thank you all for such a generous gift, which always seems like such an added bonus to such a fun concert each season. Your focus on performing  to the best of your abilities is thanks enough for me.  That said, Jill and I are floored by this gesture and will undoubtedly enjoy a number of great performances at Orchestra Hall in the coming year.  We will smile knowing that you made it happen. Our next concert is with guest conductor Dr. Charles Weise and the Minnesota Junior Winds (MJW) on Monday, March 6, 7:30 PM at Edina High School. We begin rehearsing Wednesday, January 11 at Edina High School. As a part of our joint concert with Minnesota Junior Winds, we are looking for a few volunteers in each section to play with the select high school ensemble both on our concert and at a 5 PM performance Thursday, February 16, at the MMEA Mid-Winter Conference at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It would involve a joint rehearsal at Edina High School on Monday, February 6. Sitting next to young people and playing has a HUGE positive impact on them!
