MSW needs your help.
Did you know that this year is our 20th silent auction? The auction is our major fundraiser for the year. Its success depends on MSW members contributing goods, food, gift cards, and other items.
But for it to run at all, it needs a coordinator.
Amanda has to step away from this fun role this year (She’ll be back next year, unless you fall in love with the work. Then she’ll have to arm wrestle you for it.). In the interim, we’re looking for someone to coordinate the band’s efforts.
Here’s what the role entails: Reminding the band about making donations Gathering volunteers Collecting donations before rehearsal on 11/30 and 12/7 Setting minimum bids and value raises for each item Compiling the auction program insert & printing copies Coordinating the set-up and tear-down of the auction on 12/11 Here’s what’s already been done for you: Info sheets, bid sheets, and thank you letters are updated All emails to the band are scheduled Volunteer sign-up form is ready to share with the band Auction program insert is ready for your edits All instructions, pricing guides, and checklists are updated and waiting to help guide you All the money stuff will be taken care of by Bob and the officers, including payment collection and reconciliation.
Much of the auction prep has already been done for you,
but we still need your help!
Will you step up to the plate? Email or call Amanda at the contact info below if you’re interested in serving MSW as the silent auction coordinator this year.
Thanks!
